re the letter from Keith Strata, Kudo's to you my friend, I truly agree with every word you said. People think that puppies or kittens are cute but when they grow up and have to spend time training them, they have no time for them. I recently became the mom of a 6 year old golden retriever who has gone from home to home, I am his fifth home, and glad to say his final home. Yes puppies are cute but to me getting a dog that already can tell you he wants out, can sit, is pretty well trained is great. People need to go to shelters, and yes they need to remember the animals also at this time of year. God bless you Keith for having such a big heart and caring as you do.

Thanks so much for the posting regarding the Wigamog Inn! I had a wedding planned for next year and no one from the resort called to inform us of the closure! We are now trying to get our $1500 deposit back, with little help from the corporation. If there is anyone else out there that have been burned by the Wigamog, please get in contact as we would like to put together a case.

Same as Celeste, Hydro took away my old meter and then billed me 3 times the normal price. Theres no way to tell what the old meter was reading when they took it away? Cant talk to them on the phone. They just tell you your wrong. Neighbour used 95c worth of hydro and was billed $325 for delivery???

I agree with Celeste Lohrbach who wrote in about her hydro bill. I just recieved mine as well and was floored at the increase, 3 times what it has been for as long as we have owned our cottage, 20yrs! Hydro installed the new smart meter at our cottage as well this summer. I agree that something must be wrong! We only use our cottage in the summer and weekends spring and fall to thanksgiving.
