To the Editor: If you are ever going to be stranded, there couldn't be a better place than Gooderham. I was on my way to Bancroft on Nov. 1 and had some minor car troubles. Once I realized, I was stuck there for the night because the local service station did not have the part.

To the Editor: I agree with Celeste Lohrbach who wrote in about her hydro bill. I just received mine as well and was floored at the increase; three times what it has been for as long as we have owned our cottage, 20 years! Hydro installed the new smart meter at our cottage as well this summer.
